Welcome to Drive Development Solutions!
Thanks for taking the time to view our MotorTradeBook Profile.
I believe that successful businesses are made by successful people. I am proud to have successfully helped many businesses to unlock the potential in their people. Helping people to achieve more is what I love to do.
I also love cars. I was born a petrol head. When other kids had posters of rock bands or Bay Watch on their walls. I had posters of Ferraris and Lamborghinis.
Drive Development Solutions is the marrying together of my two passions. It’s my way of giving something back to the industry that has brought me so much joy over the years. Our mission is to help the motor industry to find, keep and develop talented people. We do this by offering HR solutions that are innovative, practical, relevant and cost effective.
Drive Development was established in 2012 in the midst of the second dip of the recession. It was tough times for the Automotive Industry, which was one of the first sectors to feel the crunch. A strange time, then, to launch a Training and Development business dedicated to the Motor Industry? I don’t believe so, no. It is precisely at times of uncertainty and change that leadership and engagement – and effective personnel development – become important.
Across my team, we have over 100 years of HR and training experience and over 40 years of automotive experience. In my corporate career, I have designed and developed multi million pound training programmes and want to bring the same level of quality to businesses, small and large, within the automotive sector.
I, like many others within the motor industry, believe that there will be more regulation of the motoring sector in the future. Having spent the majority of my career working in heavily regulated environments, I bring my up to date knowledge of the FCA Treating Customers Fairly principles to help prepare your staff for any future regulatory changes.
Henry Ford once said, “It is only by developing your people that you will become permanently successful.” Businesses aren’t successful - People are. Successful Businesses are full of Successful People.
