This Grand Tourer is one of the best in show and was presented at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
This was the first four wheel model ever produced by Ferrari and has seen several improvements over the years.
It replaced the 612 Scaglietti grand tourer and at the time was the world’s fastest four seat car on release to the public as stated by Ferrari.
The FF features a F140 EB 6262 cc V12 that produces 651 hp at 8000 rpm and 683 Nm torque at 6000 rpm. The transmission is a 7 speed dual clutch paddle shift system that is semi-automatic and similar to both the California and Italia models.
The four wheel drive 4RM system is about 50% lighter than other conventional four wheel drive systems and is based around a second, simple gear box that takes power from the front of the engine and disperses it across all four wheels.
The FF is a hatch back style with room for two adults in the back seat and plenty of room for storage as well. The interior does have the collapsible rear seats so you can increase carry capacity if you want.
The design is aggressive for what is supposed to be a family style car but it still does offer the easy feel and easy style that is so loved about hatch back styles.
Overall this model is great for those that want the functionality that a hatch back offers without compromising style or power that Ferrari offers in each and every model.
