Regardless of our notoriously bad summers, when it comes to wind in your hair motoring, the UK is number one in Europe. That may be hard to believe but it’s true and that’s why when a car like the C-Class Cabriolet is launched then buyers flock to the showrooms.
Available to order, the C-Class Cabriolet will hit showrooms in September and starts from £36,200.

The C-Class Cabriolet 2017 has a choice of six engines with the range starting with the C 200. It is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing184hp and comes with a choice of six-speed manual or 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission.

The C 300 features the same 2.0-litre engine but produces 245hp and is only available with the 9G-TRONIC gearbox.
While the flagship AMG C 43 4MATIC Cabriolet is powered by a 3.0-litre bi-turbo V6 petrol engine producing 367hp and it will complete

Two diesel engines are also available: the 170hp C 220 d and the C 250 d, which produces 204 hp.

From launch two grades are available including Sport and AMG Line. Standard equipment includes Airscarf; Aircap; Memory Package; reversing camera; keyless start and entry (auto only); Garmin Map Pilot navigation system; Mirror Package; heated seats; Active Parking Assist; Agility Control comfort suspension; LED headlights; ambient lighting (auto only); DAB radio; and sports seats in Artico leather.

Practicality and space are at a premium, however, the boot is large enough for a couple of weekend bags with the roof down.
