BMW X1 Review

BMW has always been good about creating automobiles that fit a wide range of needs and buyers and the BMW X1 is a good example of that principle. Each BMW X1 comes with the option of either petrol or a diesel BMW TwinPower Turbo engine in four cylinder configurations.

These engines have been adapted to give drivers the most fuel efficiency as possible and lower overall emissions. Emissions have been as low as 109g/km in the sDrive 18d. Dynamic damper control also helps to provide handling in situations where it may seem a bit iffy and the eight speed Steptronic transmission, though optional, helps to ensure soft gear changes and shifts.

The BMW X1 also comes with ECO PRO mode which helps to maximize efficiency of all systems including things like climate control and driving style which allows a savings of up to 20% in fuel. The X1 also comes with Auto Start- Stop which turns off the engine when the car is at a stop to help conserve fuel. Urban fuel consumption is 4.9 litre per 100km and extra urban is 3.7 litre per 100km.

Top speed is 205 km/hr and acceleration is 0-62mphmph in 9.2 seconds. Max torque is 330Nm/1750rpm and max output is 110kWh/150hp/4000rpm. The X1 is a wonderful option for those that love power and style but are not willing to compromise on either.
